For our Parts department, we are looking for a:

INVENTORY CONTROL SUPERVISOR

Description

The Inventory Control Supervisor plays a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations, overseeing activities such as organizing the import and distribution processes of parts and components, parts forecasting, order placements, and ensuring the availability of critical parts. Additionally, this role involves coordinating comprehensive stocktaking processes and managing documentation to guarantee the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency within the Inventory Control section and is responsible for leading the Inventory Control Team.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Establish and execute cycle count schedules in compliance with the corporate accounting objectives;

· Coordinate and oversee the daily cycle counts of the various inventory assets;

· Investigate, identify and reconcile the cycle count discrepancies, i.e., shortages as well as overages;

· Audit the inventory process along with paper flow errors and spot the inconsistencies that affect the accuracy of the inventories;

· Ensure proper data input from the received parts and update the warehouse administration;

· Produce weekly status report of the issued and outstanding orders;

· Coordinate Inventory stock orders based on ERP recommendations and Inventory strategies;

· Coordinate all arrangements regarding the import and export of goods and components;

· Minimize Parts return and prepare semi-annually Parts return reports;

· Check accuracy of incoming and outgoing parts and claims.

Education and/or Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or other equivalent degree with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience within the Supply Chain.

· Supply Chain and/or inventory management certification is a pre.

· Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with an ERP system.

· Experience in a supervisory role or leading a team.

Reporting structure

The Inventory Control Supervisor reports to the Parts Operations Manager.

Work Schedule

· 45 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

· The work location is located at Wanica and the working hours are from 7.30 – 16.15.

· Availability required outside standard working hours if deemed necessary.

· Availability required for work at the various Surmac locations.
