For our Parts Mining Department, we are looking for a:


PARTS DATA ANALYST


Description

The Parts Data Analyst is responsible for processing and analyzing data related to the parts operations, provide recommendations and data that support managerial decision making, monitor and report on department KPI’s and provide solutions on department challenges regarding parts processes and data.


Job Duties/ Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Optimize the automated replenishment system parameters based on rate of sales, lead times, and order frequency to ensure meeting inventory levels and in stock targets;

· Support with achieving the local supply chain performance targets focused on inventory reduction while maintaining service levels, increased inventory turns and improved order-to-delivery results;

· Provide the Inventory Control Supervisor with reports on all parts and service opportunities;

· Review sales/financial analyses (what sold/did not sell; determine which categories have potential to move upward; cost/benefit analysis; data process

modeling/analysis of problems, regression analysis);

· Interpret and provide input on parts forecasts based on product knowledge and technology;

· Synthesize data findings and derive conclusions from analyses and provide oral and written recommendations to Inventory Control Supervisor.

· Support with tasks related to core operations projects and/or process improvements;

· Analyze items for regular Parts Return Authorization (PRA);

· Review parts forecast to check future demand for non-moving items and execute and control the Parts Return Authorization (PRA) process step by step;

· Monitor protective stock against actual demand and the transfer arrangement of non-moving stock to the other branches which have demand;

· Review turn over trends;

· Collaborate with the Inventory Control supervisor and Parts management to perform analysis and review upcoming promotional forecasts and seasonal activity based on sales, inventory, and in stock expectations;

 

Education and/or Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Economics with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience or equivalent education and experience in similar role preferably within the Supply Chain.

· Experienced in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

· Experience with MS Project and Power Bi.

· Experience with ERP systems (e.g. NAXT).

Reporting structure

The Parts Data Analyst reports to Inventory Control Supervisor.


Work Schedule

· The base work location is at Surmac Wanica and the working hours are from 7.30 - 16.15.

· Availability required for work at the various Surmac locations.

· Availability outside standard working hours, if required.
