INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Description
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for an assigned territory containing approximately 100 to 300 customers. These customers are tier 2 customers and the ISR is responsible for contacting these customers by telephone at a typical Planned Annual Rate of call (PAR) determined in the yearly coverage study.
Job Duties/ Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Establish, qualify and maintain appropriate relationships with assigned customers to position Surmac as the preferred supplier in the customers’ vendor list to increase sales of parts and service solutions;
· Provide customers with solutions to meet customer requirements after thoroughly analyzing needs;
· Contact customers according to the validated PAR plan, which is determined by Sales and Marketing;
· Register and manage all identified leads and opportunities in the dealer’s CRM system;
· Continually update the customer’s equipment population, contacts, mobile and office phone information, address and other customer relationship management information in the dealer’s CRM system;
· Promote all aspects of the dealership by selling parts, services, Customer Value Agreements (CVAs), and generate engine and machine sales leads;
· Build strong relationships with customers and be their primary point-of-contact at the dealership;
· Advise customers on Equipment Management Solutions by understanding how customers use their equipment within their business and closely guide them throughout the life of each asset by actively participating in all of the customers' parts and service’s needs;
· Build customer loyalty by following up on service or parts orders, assuring requests are addressed in a timely manner, and by networking within customer accounts.
Education and/or Experience
· Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a sales and service environment.
· Technical skills in mechanics or power systems is preferred.
· Experience in customer service is preferred.
· Must have a positive attitude and be a self-starter.
· Experienced in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Good comprehension of the languages Portuguese and Chinese (Mandarin) is an advantage.
Reporting structure
The Inside Sales Representative reports to the Energy & Transportation Manager.
Work Schedule
· The base work location is at Surmac Paramaribo and the working hours are from 7:00 – 16:00.
· Availability for work at various Surmac locations.
· Availability outside standard working hours, if required.
