CKC Machinehandel Surmac N.V. (hereafter Surmac) is the authorized Caterpillar dealer in Suriname established in 1957. In addition, Surmac is also a dealer of other brands. For our Aftermarket Sales Department, we are looking for a:


PARTS SALES ADMINISTRATOR


Description

The Parts Sales Administrator is responsible for the optimal support to customers through quick service for cash sales; advise and ensure timely and accurate order placement and formatting picking lists and also ensure timely delivery of customer orders contributing to the promotion of customer satisfaction.


Job Duties/ Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Ensure accurate checking of the correct parts;

· Handle customer orders at the counter, over the phone and by email for parts take;

· Ensure handling of orders of customer with a preferred contract.

· Advise customers with the purchase of parts;

· Perform up and cross selling of parts;

· Monitor the status of orders and follow up with customers;

· Trace fast selling purchased goods and come up with “ to have in stock” parts proposals (suggestion list);

· Coordinate the delivery of orders;

· Prepare a proper cash account;

· Preparation and handling of sales invoices;

· Managing of customer payments;

· Deal with customer returns and claim cases.

 

Education and/or Experience

· Minimal MBO diploma or NATIN diploma with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience.

· Experience in a sales environment is preferred.

· Must have general knowledge of logistics.

· Experienced in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

· Good comprehension of the languages Portuguese and French is an advantage.

 

Reporting structure

The Parts Sales Administrator reports to the Parts Sales Superintendent.


Work Schedule

· The base work location is at Surmac Paramaribo and the working hours are from 7:00 – 16:00.

· Availability for work at various Surmac locations.

· Availability outside standard working hours, if required.
