For our Mining Commerce Department we are looking for a driven:

MINING PRODUCT SUPPORT & SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Description

The Mining Product Support & Sales Representative serves as a liaison between SURMAC CAT and the Large Mining customers. The position is responsible for coverage, retention, development and growth of business volume and customer satisfaction of the specific group of large mining customers in the assigned territory. This position will also be responsible for improving SURMAC CAT product support and sales market share in the assigned territory.

Job Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Responsible for selling parts, service, and solutions for the mining customers;

· Utilize CRM program to maintain machinery project schedules, follow up on the preparation and maintenance of quotes to offer diverse solutions in a timely manner;

· Collect, record, and maintain in-depth customer profiles in order to gather information on sales, parts, and service needs;

· Work with the Mining Account Manager, Service Manager and Parts Operations Manager in developing and promoting parts sales, featured items and/or services;

· Perform the necessary functions required for machine or equipment undercarriage and ground engaging tools sales, i.e. evaluations, fit up, record keeping, and recommendations;

· Balance the business needs and goals of the company while looking out for the best interests of our customers;

· Work at obtaining a level of expertise in areas such as undercarriage inspections, walk around inspections, safe operator procedures.

Education and/or Experience

· Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in sales, service or product support.

· Extensive background in construction and/or heavy construction equipment (desired).

· Experienced in MS Project.

· Knowledge of CRM programs and Distributor Operating systems such as SISweb, Simsi.

Reporting structure

The Mining Product Support & Sales Representative reports to the Mining Commerce Manager.

Work Schedule

· 45 hours in a week, from Monday to Friday.

· The work location is located at Wanica and the working hours are from 7.30 – 16.15.

· Availability required outside standard working hours if deemed necessary.

· Availability required for work at the various Surmac locations.

· Will be required to travel regularly to customer locations (near and remote locations).
